Dear Donald,

Have you ever wondered how many days you and your administration could go without making negative headlines in the news for doing something questionable? I’m thinking it would be a challenge to just hit double digits.

Of course the latest uproar is over your firing of FBI Director Comey. I couldn’t help but laugh when I read an article from The Washington Post that said that Sean Spicer LITERALLY hid from reporters in bushes to avoid having to try and explain your sudden firing of Comey.

Naturally many people find this abrupt firing rather suspiciously timed, seeing as the Russian investigation is really starting to heat up. A lot of people suspect that this has to do with you not being very happy with the way this investigation regarding Russian is unfolding, amongst other things such as his refusal to support your claims of wiretapping.

You of course deny these reasons, and give your reason as “He was not doing a good job,…..Very simply, he was not doing a good job.”. In addition to this statement, you wouldn’t be you if you didn’t have something to say via Twitter. “Dems have been complaining for months & months about Dir. Comey. Now that he has been fired they PRETEND to be aggrieved. Phony hypocrites!” @realDonaldTrump 12:23 PM – 10 May 2017

Personally I find your reason for his dismissal of “not doing a good job” hard to believe. You of course flip flop all, of the time. I guess it just depends on who is whispering in your ear. Or perhaps you’ll agree with just about anything, so long as the story makes you look good.

Sincerely,
A Solicitous Citizen
