I just watched your interview this evening that aired with Fox and Friends earlier this week. It drives me absolutely batty how you constantly change numbers and answers when you’re talking. It seems like you can’t give a direct clear answer to save your life!
Ainsley Earhardt: “You have talked about spending $54 billion in additional money for our military. Senator John McCain has said that is not enough. What’s your reaction?”
TRUMP: “Well, we’re going to spend a lot more money on military. We really have to. We have no choice. And a lot of people think it’s a tremendous amount of money. It could be, actually, $30 million, $30 billion more than that.”
Um… do you realize how different $30 million is from $30 billion???? That is a very wide range, but of course, this is probably completely intentional to be vague and ambiguous.
Also your number fluctuate when it comes to the jobs you are claiming that Scott Pruit is going to free up “about thousands — and millions, actually, of jobs.”
Soooo is it thousands or millions??
Of course the part that everyone is talking about is how you said you believe Obama is behind the protests and leaks. Now when I watched this interview, I completely felt as if the interviewers fed this idea to you and you just took it and ran with it. It was very reminiscent of watching a lawyer leading the witness on the stand to try and get them to say exactly what they want to hear, and it looks like you took the bait.
To me, it really doesn’t matter who is behind the leaks at this point, because if the truth of the matter is that these things are done, that is something that needs to be addressed and dealt with. You cannot use Obama and or his administration to point at and blame for things that were done that shouldn’t have been done. At some point you need to take responsibility for your actions as well as those of your administration. You are supposed to be the leader. You are supposed to have control of your administration that is representing you and working on behalf of you. You do not get to pass the blame.
I think you are so used to being a boss, that you don’t know what it means to be a leader. Or perhaps you thought that they were the same thing.
